Services

Setup, configuration and maintenance of smart homes: wireless, battery, plug-in and low-voltage devices, home network, server and backups. Work on 120/240 V is excluded and done by a master electrician (see Electrical work).

Quotes and prices

• Published prices are for labour, before taxes. Hardware is billed at cost plus 10%, or bought by you from our list.
• A written quote is valid for 30 days.
• For projects over $1,000, a 30% deposit confirms the work date. [TO COMPLETE: payment methods.]
• GST and QST will be added once the business is registered.

Warranties

• Labour: 90 days. If a configuration we did stops working without a change on your side, we fix it at no charge.
• Hardware: manufacturer’s warranty. We help you with claims.
• These warranties are in addition to those under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

Maintenance plans

Billed monthly, no contract. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. Unused included hours do not carry over.

Your responsibilities

Give us access to the premises and accounts needed, keep your passwords confidential, and tell us if a third party changes the system.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned. A smart home helps prevent damage (water leaks, for example) but does not replace insurance or a monitored alarm system.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec. The courts of the district of Montreal have jurisdiction.
